battery life. was great, now not so much

The first few days I had my n3 the battery seemed unstoppable. Over the last few days it's been seeming to drain faster during use. Other than using task manager to kill apps is there anything else that could help? I use the auto brightness and only run a few widgets. I tried an s-view case from spigen and it seemed to drain even faster.

did you upgrade to KK recently? Google buried quite some bugs there to eat up the battery.

Other than that, killing apps is the only way to go, instead of going to app manager, install a fast reboot so you can tap an icon on the desktop to wipe everything from memory in 2 seconds.

It does cure the ginormous standby battery drain. I use it very often, whenever I exit to the desktop from apps, before putting it down.
