3600 mAh is the battery but it is awesome u may be able to check Amazon.

How in the freaking world did you manage that?

What settings did you have enabled/disabled?

On the sprint optimus s main page (not in this rooting section) there is a sticky about roam control. That app will allow you to force your phone to remain in roaming, and thus save that battery. http://forums.androidcentral.com/sp...pp-roam-control-optimus-no-root-required.html

Becides that, battery like has so many factors so is rather subjective. But for me this is what I do.

-Keep the screen brightness as low as I can and still see it.
-Set wifi settings to "Never" sleep, and use it at every opportunity (always shut of when you do NOT have wifi as this will in turn drain battery if the phone is searching for a wifi connection that is not there).

I not only use the roam control app but I also manually change my PRL using QPST so I can maintain 3G roaming while I am at work where sprint service sucks but Verizon is good. I too also have wifi set to never sleep. When not using wifi I turn it off with the drop down notification.
I usually keep my screen brightness to @ 40%.

After an hour or so browsing/google reading I was at 60%? This is crazy! (No wifi, screen brightness aroung 35%, Sound off, Airplane battery dance, force-stop media storage). What's up?

It's a CM9 thing. Try this:

Turn on airplane mode, shut off phone, pull battery, hold power for 10 seconds, replace battery, turn on phone, turn off airplane mode.

I'd been doing that too, Oh well, I'm upgrading soon (got my opti used so I never actually used my upgrade), so I guess I'll just deal for a bit. :'(
