Thought I'd get a thread started on battery life for people. I been heavy using this thing, but so far I'm at 56% after 4 hours off. I have WiFi off and been mostly connect to the phone. Wondering how long standalone would be

Checking back in. I think this battery will be good attached and moderate use. Since last post I'm not only at 47% after cutting back on the heavy use.

I think the real test will be tomorrow when I go for a hike and use as a standalone

I just wanna say you and others have been awesome to update us with the watch. I can't wait to get one at TMobile on Sunday.

No problem. I was pretty excited and this is a great watch. Buggy issues but nothing that yet making me want to return it or regret buying. I just wish I had more time to tinker with it. Needless to say work has been a trickle to get done lol

9 hours of moderate use out of the box with only 60% to start. I had to try to kill it.

Well I still think that having a smartwatch is not a very good idea. Having to charge our phones every day is a problem, but adding a smart watch also...

Then why are you here on this forum? Except for trolling of course...?

I do not see the point of owning a IPhone, but I do not hang around Apple forums to tell others that...

Yeah, plug your phone in at bedtime to charge then plug the watch in too right next to it.....how will you cope?

sent from my Galaxy s5

I'm not gonna bash you, I can understand your opinion. Now here's mine. It's a watch, it's electronic, whether its one day one week or one month, anything with a battery needs to be replaced. Is it a burden to have something to further convenience my life? I think to simplify a heart rate monitor, phone, GPS tracking, compass, and fitness tracker into a two inch screen is worth the hard life sacrifice of plugging it in every night. The best inclusion was definitely the dock. It is what it is.

Well, I went to the gym yesterday w it (without note 4) and streamed Milk Music from my S to my Bluetooth headset. This absolutely drained my battery extremely fast and went thorough about 50% battery life in about an hour.

Still tinkering, though and will report back later...

Yeah I don't think streaming is idea for such a small battery along with running whatever else that needs to be ran like Bluetooth, remote connect, and WiFi if on. I'm not far away from my phone enough to know how good the battery is in remote connect or standalone mode.

How long does it take to charge from say 10% to 100%?

I have phone with my Neo that without turning it off, I can charge from practically 0% to 100% in about an hour, this helps with inconvenience of charging a lot. I sleep with it on and when I get up I put it on the charge for about an hour while I shave, shower, eat, etc. and it is at 100% when I put it on.

To buy this watch out right from Sprint is about $430 with tax included smh. I'm looking at getting it but I'm also on the fence about staying with Sprint or to move on to another carrier. I live in NYC and been with them for 15 years and a lot of broken promises from Wimax to LTE have been broken. Any recommendations on who I should go with?

This is a thread about battery life...

Well not sure how much juice this had right out of the box... but I got about 3 hours of heavy use until the battery warning came up. Tomorrow will be the first full day test. Plan to run (use Nike+ app) and stream Milk.

I setup my watch to use my phone's SIM card and bring the watch only with me all day yesterday (the phone is in home on wifi so that the watch will connect remotely). I have to say, it won't last 8 hours without a charge in the middle of the day due to the cell connection. If you bring the phone with you so that the watch only connect via BT LE, it might last longer.

My first full day of use, no running though, I'm on hour 26 and at 50%. Will be curious to see how the running works out for you, terrain.
