battery monitor reset

i just got the razr tonight and love it already! one thing is the battery monitor where it says how long the battery has been used wont reset. is their something im missing? any help would be great!

From what I've noticed, it only resets when you charge the phone up to 100%. I haven't found any other way of resetting the time.
