Battery percentage stuck on 100, sometimes it becomes jumpy. What can be done?

Battery percentage stuck on 100%, sometimes it becomes jumpy.

Yo guys, how's it going?

I'm having a very frustrated issue with my Nexus 5 d820.
The battery indicator suddenly started to stuck -for days- on random numbers like 93%, 88% but most of the time it's stuck on 100%.
It does recognizes that I'm charging, but the values aren't changing.

Things I've tried:
Complete drain, complete charge.
Replacing the Battery.
Wipe to Factory / Wipe Cache
Install a brand new rom using fastboot
Install TWRP, Root
Replace the kernel to elementalx

What else can it be? is there an hardware part which is in charge of the battery indicator which I can replace?

Welcome to Android Central.

Have you tried installing another battery monitor, for example GSam? If so, does it indicate the correct percentage in the status bar top left?

It could be either a hardware or system problem (the percentage indication is a combination of both), but unless you're going to fix it yourself, it could get expensive.

The first thing I'd do is what Belodion suggests.

If that doesn't give you a proper indication, I'd back up all apps and data, then reflash the ROM. If that fixes it, it was a system problem. (And fixing it costs nothing but time.)

The next thing I'd go for is a replacement battery. Even a used one that's working well would tell you if yours is the cause of the problem.

But paying a shop to try all these things (if you can find an honest rpair person who will go through it all for you) would probably be too expensive.

Are you still having issues with the battery indicator ?
I'm interested in the solution mine is stuck at 0% whatever I do.
