Battery saver not working?

Hi everyone, before the new update, battery saver emmidiately dimmed my display, and there was a performance difference.. Since the update, i am not experiencing neither of these... I tap it, and nothing is happening... Can anyone help ? Thanks

Hi Lolerica

You are not along with issues after this update. Please try the below fixes, hopefully option 1 works for you.

1. Enter Recover Mode and Wipe Cache Partition. No data loss will occur all settings are safe.
2. Full Factory Reset THIS WILL DELETE ALL DATA, AS NEW PHONE. Be sure to back up all your important stuff before doing this one.

Already did hard reset 10 days ago which fixed my battery drain... Im not sure if i wanna mess it up again

I"m afraid that a service center visit might be the only other alternative.

I have fixed this issue.
The problem is :
My battery saver was optioned to automatically turn on at 5% battery.
By just pressing the battery saver in the dropdown menu , it would not start.
- When i actually made it start automatically at 20 % , i could tick the battery saving mode in the drpdown menu , but only at 20 % and below.
Now i have set it to 'Immediately' , and it turns on whenever i tick it. I don't remember it being this way before , i remember it being automatically done at 20 % , but i could tick it also whenever i wanted..
