Battery sucks

I have a Verizon GS5 on the latest update and my battery life is horrible. The phone is about 10 months old and struggles on standby to stay alive 8-9 hours.

Any suggestions?

How long have you had the update? Look at those Android system and OS usage thats high. I say if those don't settle within a day or two. just factory reset your phone and start fresh.

Oh yeah did you do a factory reset after you updated or nah? sometimes you don't need to but other times left over stuff from before cause problems with new updates.

I didnt have to reset mines after the update. fyi

I have actually factory reset 3 times. Ive had this update for two weeks now and it started doing thid the past three days this at this severity. This is starting to make me angry. Any other suggestions

Did you try clearing your cache and then see how it goes. or clearing cache and then factory reset.

Thats all I got, other treads are talking about this issue also mabye they can help better.

It seems to do this about every other charge. This charge has drained out about 40 percent in 3 hours but I haven't stopped using it much.
