The past couple of days my phone has taken at least 30 minutes to gain 10% charge even in ultra power saving mode. I've tried several plug in chargers and my wireless charger with the same or similar results. I've also noticed that the battery percentage will go down sporadically jumping 10-15% in seconds. Is there something I should try or just try to work the warranty or insurance route to replace?

Welcome to Android Central! The battery is probably failing. You could first try recalibrating the battery sensor software by charging up to 100% (however long that takes), then using it normally until it shuts off by itself. Then charge back to 100%. You might have to do a couple cycles of this. If the problem persists, then look into replacing the battery.

If battery is removable, try that. Take battery out for ten seconds, reinstall and charge.
