My battery usage in Settings shows Android OS at 107% and no other entries, and doesn't reset after charging. Any suggestions that don't involve rooting or a factory reset?

edit: never mind, I managed to get the thing to work finally by clearing data on Settings. Thanks for your attention!

Hmm, that's a funny bug! Glad you figured it out, and then let us know how you did it!

Yeah, I've haunted these forums for years, and every time I think I've heard everything I'm proven wrong. With something as complex as Android, there are always new and interesting ways for things to break. :P

I think I'm going to try to hold onto my N4 until some 64-bit phones that I like come out next year. Aside from the cruddy battery, it actually still performs extremely well considering its age. My desire to be on the leading edge means I'm loathe to buy a new phone right now when it's likely to be among the last of the 32-bit devices. I may have to start making a habit of carrying my battery pack with me when I'm going out for the day. Or maybe Lollipop will perform a miracle, but I'm not staking anything on that one. >.>
