Battery Use

that's what happened with me and my MT4G. It would sit on my desk at work all day with me only checking texts and emails and it would be dead by the end of the day. so frustrating! it almost made me hate android all together...

okay, so i had the wifi off and it was connected to 4g...and in two hours, lost nearly 20% battery. So it's definitely something about the cellular radio. I checked the battery stats, no program was obvious and the cell radio didn't have a high 'time without signal'. Anyway...narrows it down at least, right?

I would say that the battery life for the gtx is NOT very good. However, I have been playing with the phone quite a bit, adding contacts, downloading apps, etc.
Last night the phone was at about 30% battery, I left it overnight, woke up and I had 3% left! I saw that I had "facebook go chat" running all night, and I HOPE that was the issue. I will keep monitoring it and keep you updated.

I went to bed with about 40%, woke up to 10% left. My iPhones don't need charging for two days, my Focus can make it for THREE DAYS with little usage as my secondary phone. This G2X isn't making it half a day.

Charged it FULLY half way through the day yesterday, used it LESS than average, went to bed with the battery at 25%-30%, woke up with the battery COMPLETELY DEAD. Dont know what the deal is here. Also had problems with the phone jumping between 2g to 4g to no service to 3 bars. Phone shuts itself off randomly, screen unresponsive sometimes....
