Still waiting on mine too. West Coast here. I'm just hoping they don't wait until tomorrow at 10am to send it at my store. Not having a lot of trust for this one, given that on the first day of pre-orders for BB they told me they weren't doing them.
I pre-ordered on 4/5 from BB and my carrier is ATT. No email yet and my order status is "will ship when item arrives". You are the lucky ones because I was not given the pick up in store option when I placed my order. So I guess I won't have my phone until sometime next week.

Wait a minute guys.. Best Buy isnt offereing any pre order bonuses.. They are saying that the billing name on the receipt must pick up the phone.. But if i go in to the store to try to pick up the phone and they wont let me then whats the difference if i were to say "im going to cancel picking up my pre order and just buy the same phone but not the pre ordered one" Basically what if i just walk in and outright way i want to buy the phone instead of saying "im here to pick up my pre order"
There is no difference, if they have stock available for general retail sale. Pre-order would get first dibs.
See i put in the pre order, paid with my card, and its all my info except it says "must be picked up by (fathers name)" not mine! So i talked to an online rep and they said they should be able to change the name if i go in to the store but if they cant i may as well cancel and either go pick it up at a sprint store or just pick up general stock at best buy. I will still leave my pre order in though just to make sure other stores will have stock
You are right ....Best Buy does not offer pre-order bonuses but I pressed the issue with HTC and they are shipping me a free double dip case. I did this because I received the pre-order bonus email after I placed my order and I didn't want to go through the hassle of canceling my order and having to wait a few days to re-order from my carrier.
I called HTC customer service and spoke with an agent..... from there they gave me an ticket # and a few days later I received a call from one of HTC's customer service supervisors. I basically told them that if they were going to send out an email with a bonus offer or Early Fan Offer they should have (1) sent the offers out before they allowed any carrier to accept pre-orders (2) if the offer was carrier specific ....that information should have been included (in writing) with the offer so that I could have made an informed decision and (3) by sending out the offer after Best Buy and other vendors started taking pre-orders without a bonus and then say they will not honor the offer would make a lot of customers unhappy with HTC as a company. PR 101: you do not want to add one more thing for your potential customers to be upset about especially with your company not meeting their original launch or ship date. I also told them this was my 1st HTC purchase and would have no problem buying another Samsung if necessary. My first call was made to HTC on April 5th and I received a call this past Sunday saying they have received many many complaint calls about this bonus offer and that I would be receiving a free HTC case. Also my pressing the issue was not about a $30 or $40 case it was about how HTC handled or not handled this situation correctly.

Looks like Best Buy will be offering a bonus on the HTC one afterall. I got an email from them announcing widespread the One was now available. The emails says:

Just talked with a customer rep at BB. She said phone would be shipping today (Friday). Although I have no shipping information.
They would not allow me to cancel and do an in store pick up. This will be the last time I order a phone from BB...
She also stated that the black phones were on hold because the backs of the phone were subject to scratches..
