Hey guys, I'd like to say a few things before I get to my point. First of all, although this is my first post, I've been following this forum for as long as I've been an Android user, and would like to thank all the members for what they have created here. I've received much help just by going through existing threads. Secondly, before some of you folks bring out your torches and pitchforks, I do realize there are a ton of threads on this subject, and I have read a number of them, but everyone wants something different (style, budget, functions, etc), and all advice is tailored towards their particular needs, so I felt that I needed personalized advice that suited my needs. If you're still angry, please just move on, it'll do wonders for your (I assume) already high blood pressure.

Now, what I am looking for is a android-compatible pair of in-ear (excluding in ear phones where the buds are connected together by a piece of plastic that go behind the head) headset (meaning mic and controls for play/pause/call/end, volume up/down, and preferably next track. Previous track would be an added bonus)

I do not care about wireless vs. wired, budget around 200, but preferably under 150. Good enough audio quality to use as my go-to music-listening earphones.

I have Dre Solo headphones (came free with my HP laptop, hate them), a pair of in-ear bose earphones (not a big fan, plus no phone controls), in-ear Bang & Olufsen earphones, a ton of lesser quality in-ear and over the ear phones that neither have controls nor sound good (think skullcandy, panasonic, stock earphones, etc).

Of all these, my go-to for listening to music is the Bang & Olufsen which I think sound pretty darn good, but I've been using the stock Galaxy S3 earphones, just so I could control it without digging out my phone.

Based on the research I have done, I know Klipsch and Sennheiser come highly recommended, but Sennheiser has so many models I don't even know to do with them, and as for Klipsch..the Image S4a only has gotten decent reviews, and Klipsch and reviewers says the control functions are limited on the S2 (no mention of S3, but I assume it has same issues). I really like the design/price of X7i (a bit over 100?), but unless they have plans for an X7a, that's not an option for me.

I don't know how many people actually took the time to read this far, but if anyone can give me a suggestion that meet my needs, I'd very much appreciate it (a specific Sennheiser model, or another brand I'm not aware of).

Thanks a lot in advance!

I was able to get ultimate ears 500vi phones to work on my rezound with the headset button controller app. Pretty good phones for sound, I just couldn't keep them in my ears. They have an android version of them as well, but I didn't like the mic and button layout as well as the iphone controls.

Sigh..sounds like a similar problem to the Klipsch S4a..The S4i (iOS version) comes with 3 buttons but the S4a comes with one button to control everything (doesn't work, sounds like it'd be a pain to use even if it works as advertised). I'm extremely surprised and disappointed that the Android accessory market is so overlooked considering its size.

Does anyone have experience with the V Moda Vibrato or V Moda Remix Remote? They supposedly work with Android devices, but I'm not loving their design. Definitely prefer Klipsch's, even with the price premium. The Vibrato, in particular, considering its steep price point.
