Best AW Equivalent to Gear S2?

So I have a black Gear S2, and I like it, but the 'ecosystem within an ecosystem' thing is starting to feel a bit restrictive. I'm already in bed with Google/ Android, and there's not a lot of room left for Samsung/Tizen. I'm considering trading my watch for an Android Wear watch, but I'm not sure what watch would be the best equivalent to the S2 as far as specs, cost, upgradability, etc. Any thoughts? Thanks!

LG watch urbane or Huawei watch

I had similar concerns when I was looking for a smart watch and decided on the Moto 360 2nd gen which will get the AW 2.0 upgrade when released. So far, the 360 has been working great.

Huawei Watch or Moto 360 2015. The 42mm 360 is probably closer to the size of the S2

Thanks for all the replies. Just looking a Swappa prices, the suggested watches seem to be a bit higher:

• Samsung Gear S2 (Wi-Fi): $130
• LG Watch Urbane (Smart Watch): $140
• Huawei Watch (Smart Watch): $205
• Moto 360 (2015) 46mm (Smart Watch): $210

Will the 1st gen Moto 360 or the LG G Watch R (such an awkward name!) be getting Android Wear 2.0?
