my pre-order wasn't shrink-wrapped

I tend to agree. While most manufacturers dont do this it does make me feel better about the almost 1000 purchase I'm about to make. Plus I've actually run into it twice now at Best Buy where they pull a phone out of their cabinet and when I open it it's full of finger prints and smudges. They most likely pulled the device out to demonstrate it to other potential buyers or play with it themselves. That's why sealing the devices would be best. I didn't preorder but went to BB when they opened today and picked up a coral blue unlocked s9. I was the only person there at open for the new phone.

Are the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ boxes at Best Buy stores sealed and/or shrink-wrapped?

I work at Best Buy. None of the phones are shrink wrapped, except Apple products.Mines wasn't. Come to think of it even when I got a phone straight from at&t it wasn't sealed either even when they open it right in front of you. But I could tell mines hadn't been played with, unless they really really cleaned it.
