I played with them both at BB and was surprised that the 8+ really didn't feel or seem all that larger and my S7E. It makes it very tempting.

I never should have touched that display phone. Now I'm sitting here with a 6 month old s7 edge and a 8 plus on the way. Smh lol

I held an S8 and an S8+ in my hands today at BestBuy... I'm very happy that I pre-ordered the S8+. It felt so good.

And of course their Samsung reps where all over me... I did forget to look at the screen settings they had for the demo's, but I'm absolutely positive they cranked up the resolution over what comes out of the box... it was very, very sweet.

I did check a number of things out and explained to the sales rep about a few things she had not heard about... including being able to switch the order of the buttons at the bottom of the screen.

Yea, I think stores always have them at max resolution and max brightness to make them more enticing.

I tried very , very hard to convince myself also about this exact same thing regarding my V20 but to no avail haaaaaa !!!

I figured why fight it and just simply enjoy the anticipation the next few weeks and then the exctasy of unboxing a brand new S8+ whooohooooo !!!!

Went to Best Buy again today to check out the phones and I don't know what's wrong with the screens but on certain apps like settings or the browser there was a pink or blue hue on the edges of the screen. Don't know if that indicated burn in was already happening but I could already tell that it would annoy the crap out of me.

no....some ***** set the hue for nightmode or ease of screen, its a setting in phone. it can be changed

Much easier to hold than my Moto X Pure. The MXP has been the best phone I've ever owned. Looking forward to the S8+. I got to see one at Best Buy today!

I had the S7 edge and I thought it was a beautiful phone, but I looked at the S8+ again today at the Verizon store and I just don't like it. The FPS is squished and located on the back left of the phone (when the display faces you) and it's really hard to reach on the bigger model. If I were getting an S8, I'd get the little one.

Whatever you do don't take your significant other with you. I stopped by Best Buy today to look at the phones and my GF saw the S8 and said 'don't you have that on order? I want it". So now it appears my S8 Silver that I ordered for $650 will be going to her and I'm going to have to Jump my line.
