Best Buy pre-order pick up

That happened at the best buy I work at. They did get them at 10:20 and they open at 10. So not too bad. It was only AT&T

Just left worst buy... Only the wireless charger came in and "maybe by Tuesday" the phone will come in. Dumb decision

Sorry some of you had bad experience with them. My wife and I were able to get our phones and wireless charger no problem. My first black edge had a scratch and they replaced it right there no questions asked.
 
I had a great experience picking up my pre-order right away this morning. Not only did my wife and I get the wireless chargers but the Samsung rep hooked us up with free t-shirts, pens and a Samsung Galaxy photo frame. Definitely a more enjoyable experience than going to Verizon.
 
I had a terrible experience picking up my phone yesterday. I first walked in and they told me I couldn't pick up the phone because it was under my mothers name (the Verizon account is under her name) even though I'm an authorized user on her account and I make all the monthly payments. I ended up having to go back an hour and a half later with her to pick it up and I had to wait in line for another hour when there were only 2 people in front of me.

On top of that they did all the steps to activate my phone and the Wi-Fi was so bad that they couldn't transfer anything over from my S4 to my S6. I ended up factory resetting the phone the moment I walked out in order to do all the steps myself. Never going through Best Buy again. Might just be my store but the customer service was pretty terrible.

At least the phone is amazing and I'm so happy I got it.

My husband had preordered at the BB store. They said took his email, but said they would call him to schedule an appointment. He finally called Thursday night and was told there were no AT&T S6 phones in yet. My daughter-in-law (who is the owner of the account, even though we're all authorized users) texted me the email that SHE got saying that the phone was in, and we needed to pick it up by Saturday, or the order would be cancelled. Nothing about an appointment (which was actually fine with us). Picking it went pretty smoothly, though. We didn't have a Samsung rep helping us, so no free t-shirt, although I did see a pile of them as I was wandering around the Samsung area. The last thing we need is more t-shirts, though. ;-)

My Best Buy experience was on the money. (I know other have/had a lot of issues, but for whatever reason, I always have good luck with Best Buy). I got my email notification mid-day Thursday. I had to work a half-day yesterday morning, so I didn't get to my store here in Rock Hill until around 2ish to pick mine up. They said they had quite the line first thing, but things had calmed down shortly before I arrived and I was helped right away. The manager I'd done the pre-order with remembered me (we'd talked quite a bit since I was going to be setting up a new Verizon acct). He asked if I minded if they trained a new associate while setting mine up. I wasn't in a hurry and they were all friendly and was still out in less than a half hour. Fun time as all the employees were enjoying the quiet time after the rush. They setup the new account, ported my number, took my pile of money, and I was on my way with the phone and free charger. We didn't even open the box till the very end, just so I could check the phone and make sure it was in good shape. They never even touched it. Fired it up the first time once I got home and started playing.

One other comment...I LOVE the color of this thing! There was a post where folks were trying to say the Verizon black was going to be plain black, but that's certainly not the case with mine. In every sort of light I've been in, the blue tint is very obvious...even more so than the display phones I looked at early on. Awesome!
