Depends on the drive. It's a 10 min drive for me so I'd try :x

My status says ready for pick now. no dates just now. But yet I get an email from Best Buy 10 mins later saying my order will be ready for pick up tomorrow 4/21. Screw that. Online its telling me its ready now. I am going today.

Here is a picture of the Best Buy rep scanning my S8+ just 3 seconds before the register beeped and told him "NOT TODAY BUDDY!"

I am anxious to know if anyone was able to get past this. The store manager told me it was "impossible" for them to override it.

Problem is that many of you got email ready for pickup, but below date is on Friday 4/21/17
We all read way we want and would like, it's official release tomorrow and no one screwed you up lol. Someone just get lucky to get it earlier so don't guys be angry lol.
It's not end of the world 🗺 you will get it on the day they promised you. I would be upset if not ready tomorrow, but tomorrow is just ok as you all agree on when you pre-order, no need to blame BB lol

The email says tomorrow thought. The most you will get is a gift card but that is only if you become a big jerk I think.

Maybe i will try latter if some people are successful, but not worth it. probably a 15 ride for me.

I received an alert from the Best Buy app this morning telling me my phone was "Ready for Pickup." When I clicked on the alert I was taken to the App and when I viewed the order status the attached image is what I saw. I figured that if people on the boards here had purchased the phone online for home delivery and they were getting them today, there's no reason I shouldn't be able to get mine from the store. I just chose a different location to send it to. You'll notice that not only does it say "Ready to Pick Up" it says it was available on Tuesday!
