Got the email! About to go pick it up.

called at 1pm and was told that they were in stock but that I could not pick up until a email was sent to me. I called the 800 number to check the order status and was told that I had to wait for a conformation email.

Got off the phone with CS and a email popped up saying my order was ready. GS3 is now in my hand!!!

Kind of frustrated by the lack of communication.

Got my email, unfortunately when i was on the train to NYC, but good news I did call them and they promised to hold it for me til Monday so Monday I'll be able to play with it! Just gonna enjoy my trip and at least I'll have all Monday to play around with it rather than rushing around in NYC and not being able to fully enjoy it (trying to look on the bright side lol)

My store said they may 'unofficially' be getting stock tonight. I live in NYC so maybe Sprint is doing what t-mobile is and servicing the major cities first? Pure speculation on my part.

We got em in Fayetteville, AR. By no means a large city, so no telling how they're dispersing them.

Unless it's past the 72 hour window, that's highly against policy. If it was within that 72 hour window and it happened to you then contact BBY corporate. I won't tolerate idiots at other stores giving a place I work at a bad name (as much as I can help it at least).

Fortunately, that has not happened to me. I contacted BB customer service and the rep notified me that it does indicate on my order status that it is still awaiting more inventory. Sucky, but at least I know the status now. However, the interesting part is he said that they had an email listed for me that I've never had, that is unusual.

I was given a SGSIII from someone else's preorder. That person preordered 4 and only picked up 2 and indicated he didn't want the other 2.

They still told me they have to wait 72 hours, even if they know they won't be picked up. However, I talked with a manager who sold it to me =)
