Best Buy Preorders Any News?

I've been stalking my local Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile this past week and today I went in and had an employee tell me they have the phones in, but cannot sell them until July 1st. I mentioned that I had been on the Best Buy forums and many folks are getting theirs and he basically said 'oh well'. Really sucks cause I've been an iPhone guy for a loooooong time and I'm all ready to jump head first into android land and they won't let me.
The part that pissed me off the most was the T-Mobile kiosk literally in front of the Best Buy Mobile store in the mall has S3's on display and for sale right now, white and blue. I even got to play with one and that made it worse

Went into my local best buy and they had one left in stock and I bought it. Woot. Blue color.

I had the same experience here. When I went to Best Buy here and asked, they told me they had just received a shipment of them in. When I asked to purchase one he said no, and wouldn't give me a reason why, said he could lose his job. Pretty crazy considering so many people here are buying them at Best Buy. Not worried now because mine is in Houston, so I hope to get it today!
I suspect my BestBuy has them too. I went yesterday and 3 guys were standing in the Mobile area and I asked them if they had some. Two looked at each other and unconvincingly said no. Then I asked if the mobile store in the mall had any. Then the third guy, who I think was a manager, said if they get some they can't sell them until July 1st.
I thought about asking if I could pre-order one just to see if it would be ready for pickup in a few minutes. Since they didn't even mention pre-order I assume they were content to wait until tomorrow.
The AT&T stores are clueless.
So hopefully tomorrow I can go get a new phone from one our two Best Buy stores.

So I just called BB Mobile and I was informed that they got a batch of Sprint devices in & the expect to get another for AT&T & Verizon by the fourth.
I'm still waiting on my Best buy AT&T pre order (ordered 28 June). My local best buy and radio shack received a batch of Sprint phones. I'm tempted just to cancel my BB preorder and order from AT&T.
My local BB has them but they can't sell. They put up a sign referring to the ad in today's paper.
Just posted this in another thread, was there yesterday activating a One X, they had them in stock, but she said they couldn't sell them until the 1st. While I was there she told me they just received an email saying the date was pushed back again. I have a feeling you're not going to get one soon unless you're either very lucky, or have a very incompetent employee who will sell it to you without knowing what the deal is.

Well I just left my local BB and they are still getting SGIII in but they aren't selling just yet until they get all the pre orders out the way. The lady informed me because of the customs issue they are behind and wanna fill them first before they have stock to anyone who didn't pre order
If the Best Buy or Mobile store have then here, they aren't selling them. They lied to me of Friday and said they'd release on Sunday. They're even in the ad. Last night they showed up online and in stock at every Best Buy from here to Houston.
They all have different excuses and new dates. What a joke.

I preordered mine on June 7th, literally the first person on the East Coast to preorder one in white on AT&T at Best Buy (I work in the gaming department, and my buddy in Mobile looked it up). I got the email confirmation at 8:57pm today, 3 minutes before the store closed, while I was sitting in a bar.
I work the closing shift tomorrow but I'm planning to be there at open, too psyched to wait much longer.
I wish I could tell you guys more, or when you'll get yours, but genuinely we don't know. I believe, from conjecture I saw in employee news, that AT&T is holding them back from us. Probably will never know for sure, but wait a few more days before jumping ship on this ride if you're trying to use reward zone certificates or get the gift cards!

I finally got mine! I preordered mine on the 6th, it took awhile but after all the gift cards I only had to pay 93 dollars so I thought it was worth the wait.
Finally got the call tonight that my phone is in. Preordered on June 6th. Picking up from bbm tomorrow (Columbus OH). Perfect timing as my OB commuter arrived in the mail today. This whole process still took way to long. Really wish someone (bb, AT&T, or samsung) would have communicated some solid updates.
