Lol I figured anyway I could get a credit I would. Last week I gave my bro my Epic Touch and I took his Evo cuz he is ready for upgrade so I'm just taking it from him. I called in and said hey I paid $20 for this app and a monthly description and thinking I would only have the og evo for 2 days well the og evo wont support this app I bought and I want a credit for the inconvenience. It worked, $20 credit not much and hey it don't hurt to exaggerate a little lol

anyone called their best buy yet?
mine told me they might be dropped shipped this morning, but i dont want to bother them again.
ive actually only called my best buy about 2/3 times during this whole fiasco. I hope they dong recognize my voice just yet.

drop shipped meaning direct from customs place as opposed to on best buy truck. they could come in at any point as opposed to best buys trucks which supposedly come 2x/week.
and yes meaning theyd be in store today if the BBM employee was right. I am still expecting friday/sat/sun pick up IMVHO

That's okay, my store says they're still being held by customs and hope to have them released later this summer. Sigh, I wish my friends hadn't grown up and still worked there. I'd still get the wrong information, but at least I'd be able to bust their chops for it.

We seem to be few and far between, but I'm going to say that my chances are about as good as the Best Buy customers found in this thread. The RS sales rep that sold me the preorder is totally clueless. All I know is that I'm the first to place an order for the Evo in store, meaning I'd be the first to get one. She also wasn't aware of the $25 credit for inconvenience customers. Anyway, I felt like I needed to share. As I will be waiting like the rest of the other poor souls that went through a 3rd party.

If I don't get any new information with the phone by Friday and a delivery by Tuesday, I'm getting my money back period. Just don't feel right with other paws on my dollars since May 9th and no product to show for it. My OG EVO can last as long as I need it to. I spent too much time waiting to hear about a phone......SMH......

Great news!
I spoke to my local RS CSR and he stated that they should be receiving their preorders on the 24th. Although, they may scale back sales until Monday.
Seems like only the part about receiving the phones is the great news. Scale back sales until Monday? That really doesn't make much sense unless he is just playing it safe because Sprint hasn't announced any 3rd party info yet.
Wow.. They'll even give you $25.00 for your original Evolution. (Rollseyes)
