Best Buy Preorders?

Just got the call from my Best Buy in Rochester, NY. I'll be picking the phone up today.

I'm in Pflugerville. First pre-order at that store so hopefully today brings good news. ISN tweeted that all Best Buy's should be receiving today or tomorrow and their internal memo leak makes that look very concrete. I can't imagine it would go any longer than Friday.

And why wait for their call? Just call them at 10am and ask. Thats what I plan to do.

I have a lot of patience for this kinda stuff. If we do get them this weekend, we can get together along with anyone else near us to play and compare tricks on this phone. I have a custom notification apk from my old Evo that changes the led colors and frequency of blinks that want to try on this phone.

Perhaps, I think the S3 will be announced next Thursday for U.S. dates in Australia. I am still debating on the Evo.

I think I will be pleased with either one.

I was very disappointed with lack of updates on the Epic 4g that went the rooted way to get the performance the phone is capable of.

I almost got my parents that one when they were up for renewal, but I had read the horror stories of how Samsung was very slow to update and Touchwiz was crap. Needless to say, they got EVOs.

I work at Best Buy and my store only has the eight that were originally pre ordered being shipped, any excess were showing up in our system. Thank God I pre ordered mine on the first day.

The guy who answered the phone at my store said he didnt think they had any stock yet, but that I would be called or emailed when my pre-order was ready....so basically....useless. I'm going to try again in maybe an hour.

I'm in South NJ and my local BB has them but said they aren't releasing them til Friday or Saturday I am going to go there and show them memo saying the phones can be released as soon as inventory arrives

Best Buy in Round Rock doesn't have them yet either, but she was optimistic that they would get them today saying "we have a truck scheduled for around lunch which will have the Evo's on board."

Just glad the folks at the Best Buys around here know whats going on and we're not getting the run around that it seems a lot of people are getting.

They don't really care about much, my Best Buy is letting me trade in mine with a smashed screen and no battery cover.

I think they just want to harvest your used phone for its precious, precious rare earth metals.
