Best Buy Price Match...

I traded my OG EVO, got $50 gift crd for pre order, they price matched to Walmart without even verifying.... I paid $5.99 for this phone. Go Best Buy.

Did you price match it at the time of purchase or afterwards? What did you just tell them it was $XXX.xx at Walmart and they said ok and gave you that price?

Just went into Best Buy with my receipt and let them know that Walmart was selling the phone e for $158. The manager said that I got it for a better price at Best Buy with the "discounts". I proceeded to tell him that I didn't get "discounts". I got GIFT CARDS that I used to purchase the phone. I stuck to his guns and said that it would be double dipping if he was to gi e me the price match and the gift cards. I took his name and left. Well I just got off the phone with Best Buy CS and they said the manager was wrong and I should have gotten the price match barring the Walmart has the phone in stock. I now have to keep calling Walmart on the daily to find out if they have any in stock and when they do I can go pick up the price match difference

The local BB by my house gave me the same story and just left. Drove to another BB and the cs looked at the Walmart print out and gave me $50.00 with tax back on my BB credit card. Final price on the phone was $100.00 plus tax.

I know I can go to another BB but I want to stick it to the manager that wouldn't honor the price match

See, the guy at my BB knew about the Walmart issue and didn't even bother calling to verify. I told him about it and he did the adjustment. With that, my OG trade in, and applying the gift card they gave me, I only had to pay sales tax of $5.99. So the guy at your BB is just being a jerk.
