First and foremost, up until today I had planned on camping the Sprint store to get my EVO on launch day. My partner decided he wanted to consider preordering from Best Buy so I have a few questions that some of you may be able to help me with:

I'm not the premiere line on my account and I'm eligible for $75 off. I thought this meant $75 off of $450 (at Sprint) with no $100 mail in rebate. If you are in my situation, does Best Buy still allow you to preorder? What would I be getting myself into here (price and what not)?

Also, a friend of ours preordered his EVO recently and was #42 on the list. They told him they were going to open early with appointments and they would have a time slot for him to come and pick up his EVO. Does Best Buy plan on having that many EVO's? Really?

Anyone who works or has dealt with Best Buy would be very helpful, and thanks.

Best Buy only handles 2 year upgrade and 1 year premier member pricing for their phones. If you purchase at Best buy you would be paying full retail. You need to a Sprint store to do the $75 partial upgrade.

Up until 5/21 Best buy is taking guaranteed Pre-Orders, any pre order made after this date is being put on a waiting list for the second shipments about a week later.
