Best Case for Incredible

The Sena Ultra Slim is back in stock for the DI and finally shipped. Nice little pocket case, fits perfect, well made and well, slim! The Waterfield suede sleeve is a little slimmer but the Sena offers a bit more protection. Reminds me of my old BB sleeve but less bulk.

The screen on mine wasn't affected, the plastic side bars were.

That is the issue I had as well so I went back to the silicone case from vzw and it works with the Seidio holster. Going to get the innocase active but waiting for it to show up on Amazon.

I ordered the Active as well - I think in a lot of peoples cases (no pun intended) is that when the phone is put into a pants pocket the motion from walking squeezes the case just enough to mar up the phone.

You know what sucks? I ordered the basic case from verizon, the black one, and it was working great up until I bought my Zagg screen protector.

I wanted the whole thing to be protected, so I decided to splurge 20 bucks on this frickin screen protector. So I put it on and it works great. I let it dry and all the bubbles go away and it feels great to use and leaves no fingerprints.

So I go to put my case back on and i snap it in and all 4 corners of my screen protector start to lift off. :O I immediately took it off and sealed the corners down some more. I thought it was just cause the screen protector wasn't dry enough so I let it sit for a few days and the case still does the same thing. Now I need a whole new case just because I bought an expensive screen protector.

I'm thinking of getting the Active. Or waiting for case-mate if they ever start to make cases for the incredible. Hopefully some day.

Anyone recommend a good case that fits with zagg invisible shield?

With all due respect I would ditch the zagg shield, it's nice but it feels sticky and gummy, get the seidio screen protector it is so much better.

I love the feel of the zagg, I like the kind of gel type feel. I have not once seen a fingerprint on it and there are no scratches to date.

It's all a personal thing though. Personally I hate the feel of any screen protector :p Some people just love the way the Jag feels while others don't. I tried both and felt they both had a "drag" to them so both have been removed and never to be put back on anything!

So i just cut tiny corners off the screen protector so the case doesn't push them up any more. Pretty ghetto way of doing the job, but it works.

Shouldn't be too much of a concern. I've been using the Seidio InnoII case combo since about a week before it was released to everyone else. I haven't had any scratching etc. I think it mainly depends on how hard you are on your phone to begin with, I baby mine, and what type of environment you are in. I can see where dirt getting under it, or maybe sand, would damage the phone. I've seen none of that.

I think that's a concern with almost any case really (sand, dirt). I was originally going to order the InnoII, but upon seeing the Active I decided to wait as I prefer the rubberized casing with the reinforced plastic. Im sure the InnoII is a great case, i'm just not so keen on a completely hard plastic case.

Now, if only Amazon will get their but in gear and get some in stock..... :p

Fully understand, the active should provide a good bit more protection. I wouldn't mind trying the active out too.

i'm torn between the innoII and the Active -___- i want the smaller innoII but i like the design of the active a lot better

how much bigger is the active?

For those looking for a holster for the 3500 batterty, the Seidio Spring clip works great, and I tried it in the holster side of the Amazer/VZW Holster/case combo, and the 3500 back fits neatly into the holster portion of the case. (The back part is a no go.)

Casemate just launched their BarelyThere cases for the Incredible and have announced the release of the Tough cases for next week. :D

CaseMate Droid Incredible Cases

I like the idea of the Casemate Barely There case, but I would like something that completely covers all the phone edges without making it difficult to type the letters on the end of the soft keyboard. I have a case from the Verizon store, but it is making typing difficult. Any suggestions on a case that will offer decent protection but not infringe upon my screen real estate?
