the gradient case is about as thick as the iphone hard cases.

I think I'm going to get a screen protector only. I haven't been able to hold one yet, but from the descriptions I've heard of the feel of the soft touch, it sounds really nice. Also, since the back cover would be so easy to replace, what's the point of covering it up? Unless you're talking a hard protective cover, which isn't my taste, why bother?

ok so Best Buy carries a pretty good selection of Zagg Invisible Shield protectors....wonder if they'll have any for the Inc on Thursday? And they'll put it on for me if i ask, right?

I'm torn between going with a hard shell or something like a Ghost Armor protector.

I hate the tediousness of having to install those sticky screen covers. Getting them perfect takes hours, at least for me. The hard case, though, adds a considerable amount of mass to the phone making it bulkier.

What to do, what to do.

I'd love to see the phone with that gradient case on it being compared to one without, that would really help my decision.

my high gloss silicone case just came! it feels pretty nice! i wonder how it would fit with the phone!! gotta wait until Thursday! hopefully it was worth the 18 bucks.

I ordered both the clear hard shell and the high gloss red silicone, just to have options and see which I like better. The clear shell case on my Omnia saved it from three drops on concrete, so they're really helpful; they just don't look as interesting. But someone who drops a phone 3x had probably better just assume the new one's going to take a hit at some point.

It's hard to tell in the pictures but can someone tell me if the case is thicker than the ring around the camera on the back. I.E. if you set the phone down does it rest on the camera or the case.

I bought 2 of these from Verizon.

It is in fact the same material as the epik cases.

They are pretty nice....just need my phone now !! lol
