The Galaxy S8 (and S6 and S7) phone has wireless charging built into the hardware, no need for special case.

im in luck. the place i work for (im a cell phone and computer technician) we have a vendor tessco is the name that i can order from and get the cases at cost. ex: we pay 21.99 for a otterbox defender and resale for 49.95 whatever case i order i will just pay what the store paid for it. so i could get a defender for 22 bucks but im still deciding

So if I became a computer tech I could order stuff from this vendor on the cheap like this!!

I recommend you guys have a look at this ProtectPax - Nano liquid glass LCD protector - Kickstarter it´s a liquid screen protector that can also be used on other devices.

What is this? The website doesn't say anything about the product at all other than the fact it is liquid protector.

I believe that I paid $60 plus shipping for the Defender which will be here Wednesday. I have to wait until April 21st to get the two year contract price for my midnight black GS8. Cobalt Blue polymer inner layer and Black silicone outer layer.

I ordered and received the Spigen Liquid Crystal case already. Nice and slim. Should show the phone's beauty nicely. Obviously can't test fit out yet though.

I was hoping this spigen would provide some grip because of the pattern, but I already received it and it is still pretty smooth. The quest for a relatively thin case with good grip continues.

LOL, it doesn't bother me at all. I do like having a kickstand during my breaks. But like I said, it will just be one of many cases in my arsenal. I can't help myself.
