Best Cases for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+

I'd like a really thin shell-type case that still covers the buttons. Haven't found one yet.

I was all set to pick up the Spigen Rugged Armor case from Amazon - I added it to my "wish list" on the 13th so I could order it when I got home. The next day, it was no longer on Amazon! What's more, if you do a search on amazon.com for "galaxy s9 case", Spigen no longer shows up in the "brand" filters on the left, even though they still have a few s9 cases available. Spigen.com still has the case marked as available - https://www.spigen.com/products/galaxy-s9-case-rugged-armor but now I'm concerned as to why it's no longer on amazon.

I know they did something similar with s8+ cases - had them available immediately on amazon, but pulled them soon after because there were a lot of complaints about them fitting too loosely. Any ideas here? Has anybody heard anything? I know the case is only $20 (was $14 on amazon while it was there), but still hate to just throw the $$ away if something's up.

I ordered the Spigen Rugged Armor from Amazon last week and got it on Saturday. It fits my S9 perfectly, so I don't know why they would not sell it any longer. I paid about $12 or so (there was a $1 off coupon the day I ordered). Nice case.

Just got the x-doria defense case...nice build very solid...love the speaker redirect combined with the other front facing speaker it has all the sound coming at you

I can't say it's the best and certainly not worth the retail price of $89.99 CAN but I just love the LED feature.

I got a break on the trade-in POS BlackBerry phone, Samsung gave me $200 off and 30% off accessories so I figured why not and got the Samsung LED case.

I haven't heard anything but I ordered a spigen liquid crystal case from amazon before release date of the phone and now it's not available on amazon. My case fits just fine and I haven't had any issues with it so far.

This is the case I had on my S7, just plastic with silver edges. It was a Samsung product, doesn't look like they are offering anything similar on their site. Does anyone have a recommendation for a fairly minimalist case?

I use the Spigen Ultra hybrid & it looks and feels great, very minimalist.
Only thing I'm not sure of with it is how great drop protection is with it... If I'm doing anything where I think I'll need it I switch to my Bodyguardz Ace Fly. It's much thicker and I don't like the look as much but my phone fell off the table onto my concrete porch with it on(Whitestone domed glass too)... A good 5 feet with zero damage.

Looks like the Spigen cases are starting to show back up on Amazon.

I noticed that too... Just a bit more expensive. Might be why they took them down after the S9/S9+ were released so they could hack the price up lol

Haven't seen too many people buy or at least review Bodyguardz Ace Fly. As I said before these have much better drop protection but are so thick around the edges. I don't like the square cutout for the camera & fingerprint sensor but overall this is a quality case and I like it. I like the look and feel of the Spigen Ultra hybrid better but the quality & protection of the Ace Fly seems superior - it doesn't look or feel terrible either... What's your opinion on the Bodyguardz case?

I'm usually a Spigen Ruged Armor case guy but think I'll give the Neo Hybrid a shot this time. Just wish it came in a black TPU with a red frame.
