Best Cases for the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+

I bought two cases and I thought if I ever felt like switching it to the other one that I hope I wouldn't accidentally peel off or take off the screen protector in the process.

Anyone notice the Spigen Thinfit 360 this time around? I usually get the Thinfit. Now I see this. Decisions decisions. I don't think it's available yet so I don't see any reviews yet.

Is it better to go for a cheaper case and get a better screen protector like the Whitestone, or to get a cheaper screen protector and a better case?

Definitely get a better case over a screen protector

I ordered the trusty Otterbox Defender for my wife's S9+. I have an Otterbox Commuter on my S8+ and also on my 2 phones prior to that. I've dropped multiple phones from different heights using Defenders and Commuters over the years and never had a cracked screen or major damage to a device. They may cost more than the cheap Amazon cases but the piece of mind is worth it to me.

Thought I'd share some photos and input of 2 cases I ordered. I bought the Poetic Revolution and Affinity cases from Amazon and they arrived yesterday, I will update on fit and will post more photos once my S9+ arrives tonight

The cases seem to be made really well. The Affinity is the clear one and it's very grippy for those that want a grippy clear case.

Picked up this one, have the same one on my S8+. Thin profile and has the outer plastic band for a little more protection. Things I look for is thin profile and that the case covers the buttons.

Anyone use Bodyguardz cases? I ordered the Ace Fly case & their curved tempered glass screen guard since it was 30% off - still pricey at 24$ for the case.
I returned the screen protector & went with Whitestone & am considering a Spigen case instead. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Thanks for the information. I have a Spigen Rugged Crystal on the way. Seems many clear cases (Skyfall that I had on my S7) was way to slippery for my liking. I also have the Caselogy Legion in gunmetal waiting on my S9+ and have the Spigen Neo Hybrid on the way.

Here is the S9+ Case-Mate Sheer Crystal case. Hard to tell from photos but purple color does show through beautifully and bumper protection is quite nice.

I decided to try the tech 21 Evo check in black smoke color i was hoping they had the clear version but no go :/ and the Whitestone dome...guess the uag is going back since I'm more worried about protecting the screen and the drop test for the tech 21 looked promising

Is the uag not compatible with the whitestone protector?

Could be. I've never paid attention to that sensor. Great for reaching the fingerprint scanner though.
