so that you have to use their own software... or just plain stupid, I don't really know if Verizon offers a security suite.
I didn't even know Verizon has a tracking option, even if they do there will be a cold day in hell before I ever pay for itJust checked my AT&T Note II, the option Remote Control has been removed as well. So far AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, all removed the option. I am sure Carriers want you to pay for their tracking options per month.
As for Lookout app, I haven't really tried to use any of the special function. I only use it to find my phone occasionally just to see if it is still working. I don't plan to lose my phone but it would come in handy if I do.
Is the Android device manager not sufficient? I get that you need to have gps turned on for your phone to be found though and that's a battery drain...
