Best kernel for asopCMOD?

New to rom flashing and was just wondering is there a better kernel to use for this version aospCMod-VM670-20110601. Ive been getting some weird force closes and have tryed alot of different freqs on the cpu. Just checking if i should be using a different kernel, or wait for an update to the rom?

For aospCMod, a common freq is 806 max and 480 min. And for the kernel i use Xionia Kernel 014 ANYKERNEL, it has amazing battery life. Be sure you have a backup handy in case anything goes wrong.

Overclock settings will vary by phone. For example, my phone is only stable at 748 or lower, my wife can overclock to 806, a friend of mine can get to 786 stable. Maximum overclock is not dependent on your rom. Some cpu's can clock higher than others. I suggest you start at 748 and adjust upwards. Just don't click the set on boot button until your sure your phone if stable at that speed.
Edit: Don't set your lower limit below 480, testing has shown that lower speeds will actually use more battery.

I liked the xionia 14 kernel too, its no longer being developed, but it still does better than any other one I tried

Doesn't the xionia 14 kernel cause other problems with things not working correctly?

thanks for the info im gonna reflash asop and try the xionia kernel and see if i still have the closing problems
