Best late model verizon phone radio for LTE connection?

What is the best late model verizon phone in terms of LTE radio signal? I am looking for a phone to use at work where the signal is poor.

I have used a note 3 and an iPhone 6. The iPhone had a much better signal

How is the note 4? Would I be better with a motorola or nexus device?

In my experience my iPad has the best radio which I assume goes in the same iPhone 6. My note 4 has the next best radio and Motorola droid turbo had the worse .

My Droid Razr Maxx HD gets calls at work where iPhones, and Samsung do not, my department head said to me one day when my phone rang in a meeting, "You can get reception down here?" We were in the basement where no one is supposed to have reception. Best phone I have ever had reception wise.

I get around 10-15 mbps download on my iPad , 6-8 mbps download on my Samsung Galaxy note 4 and on the droid turbo around 2-4 Mbps download speed all I the same area of my house .

Same band? Same area can vary greatly. In my house, a 2-3 foot move can drop 10 dBm.

For the droid turbo and note 4 yes. IPad I'm not sure. There's an app for it without jailbreak ?


This is in the same place of my house give or take 2-5 inches

Droid Turbo is better then the Note 4 from my tests. I never ran speed tests but in terms of dBm the two phones had the Turbo slightly ahead.


Not saying the above poster is posting incorrect information. These tests seem to vary from person to person.

The dbm was also better on my note 4... I actually got no service in the middle of the street meanwhile I get some on my note 4. I never bothered with my iPad since I wouldn't use my iPad there
