does it revert back to the previous state when the conditions are no longer true? like if I have it set to vibrate when I get to a certain address, will it turn the sound back on when I leave? or if I have it set to do something from 9-5, will it go back to the way it was before at 5h01?

How do you turn off wifi when you leave your office / house? It's easy to turn on these things but I'm not sure how to turn them off.

There's no "if not " functionality yet. This will be really powerful if Samsung adds them.

I agree with this too. If this is implemented I would be able to reduce the amount of routines I have running. Like turn on WiFi at my Mom's house & turn of WiFi at my Mom's house could be a single routine.

I am loving routines, but I also hope they push out an update to allow for more advanced routines and/or more options. I used to use a third party app for things like this but it had more options and was much more detailed in terms of setting up very specific parameters and exceptions. With that said, I like that this is simple, integrated, it doesn't seem to be draining my battery having several routines running, and lets you toggle notifications off (vs the always present notification of the app I'd used previously - hate that).

Reliability has been great so far. The least reliable part of my routines seems to be work, which is funny because I have better reception here than I do at the two other locations I have routines based on (plus, the radius is plenty large and includes the entire campus so to speak plus major roads nearby). Sometimes it works as expected, other times it takes a while then suddenly recognizes it should be running (I've been testing it/leaving things as-is to see if it ever kicks on). With my other routines, they seem to kick on as expected without hiccup.

With routines I have been able to keep off all of the schedule things like blue light filter, do not disturb, night mode, and most importantly the WiFi settings that help identify when you're home to kick on (I almost never use public WiFi). I heard that last one impacts battery, and I was glad to not worry about it. I like that routines gives more flexibility vs those schedules anyway. For example, sunrise/sunset is the worst setting ever in Alaska. Plus, those schedules let you select days but don't let you differ the schedule for different days. With routines I don't have my phone sound back on at 0500 on Saturday morning like I do on a workday.

Routine based unlock has also proven more reliable than Smart Lock for me, which I appreciate.

I wish I could set the 'If' statement with the contingency that multiple conditions are met. For instance I would like the goodnight routine to be - If 10pm - 7am AND the phone is charging Then blah blah blah. Do I have to get tasker for that?
Nope. Works like this. You can put more than one If in there. Screenshot_20190918-145557_Bixby%20Routines.jpeg

you can do it backwards. for example, I have mine set to turn my wifi ON when I come home. therefore when I leave my house it turns it off. when I am at work I set my phone to vibrate, therefore when I am not at work, it turns it to ring.

So if the routine is set to turn on the WiFi when I arrive @ XX location, when you leave XX location it turns it off? There is no need to make a separate routine to shut off WiFi when you leave XX location?

Seems like it. One routine I have sets my phone to silent when I'm on a certain WiFi network. When I leave, my phone goes back to regular sound mode without me doing anything.

I'm finding some of these quite handy, and am trying to brainstorm more stuff I can automate.

Ok I am testing this out. Lets see if it works, Routine below.

Routine:

Work
If @ work

Then
Sound mode: MUTE
Wi-Fi: OFF

Do you find that this kills battery life? My battery life has tanked the last couple of days and I think it started after I started using Routines. But I'm not positive.

Toggle off and see, but for me - no. I'm getting excellent battery life and running them pretty much non-stop (arrive home, leave home, work, parents, friends, driving, night weekday, night weekend...).
