Has anyone tried out Bare Naked cases? https://www.bare-cases.com/products/bare-naked-for-galaxy-s21-s21-s21-ultra?variant=33055386632226
For the past few years I've got with Spigen Rugged Armor because it's not very bulky but still gives good protection. This year for the S21 the lip on the case is raised too much for my liking. I usually do a glass screen protector with a flat phone so I was thinking I might be fine with the Bare Naked case seeing as the back is not glass either?
I had an Encased holster for my old Galaxy S10 for several years. It worked well, easy to use and the cover saved it from damage when I dropped it several times on concrete. I decided to get one for my S21 Ultra. It has a thin design, easy to clip in/out and it has a little ridge that sticks up just a tad higher than the camera array, meaning when I lay my phone down on a flat surface it will touch the ridge, not the phone. The clip can fold out like a kickstand if I want to lay the phone on a desk and watch a video.

Encased Designed for Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra
No scratches so far. Small lip on the 4 corners to keep the screen raised.By the way, any issues with scratches at the top/bottom due to lack of protection there?

My Pitaka case has been delivered so I'll be posting pics when I get home later, cant wait. The small lips on the 4 corners is a nice touch, however that doesn't really help with protection of the top surface (and bottom). These lips help with ensuring the front screen isn't directly against the surface when placed facedown.
Pitaka doesn't appear to have any front lip whatsoever, but it does have more protection over the top/bottom surfaces. Seems both manufacturers don't quite understand the "perfect" thin case?

I thought so, but we can just assume. They would plan and invest. Probably if Later Case got protection on top and bottom, it might make that difficult to insert the phone into the case without damaging either.
