Best S6 Active software? (especially for battery life and stability)

Hey guys
I'm getting an S6 active next week hopefully and I would like to know what's the best software for it so far?
I read that the marshmallow update caused problems for some people regarding poor battery life, overheating, instability...
From you experience what's the best version of all

I have to say, quite the contrary in my case.
I was running multiple apps, switching between them on the go (Snapchat, Camera, Pokemon GO) etc, and under 5.0.1 a LOT of time the phone was unresponsive for up to a minute upon switching between apps. Also the battery drained insanely fast.

Now with 6.0.1 not only has the battery improved significantly, but also the phone doesn't lock up or become unresponsive any more, at all.

The only downside is that my Theme I was using doesn't seem to work under 6.0.1 correctly (some wrong colors etc) but that's none of Android's fault really
