Hey guys. Been dealing with some issues with my g4 over the last few weeks and I want to do a factory reset on the device. I don't want to lose my apps and all my data so I was curious what the best way to backup my stuff is? I use to lg backup that is on the phone but I'm looking for tips to make this as easy of a process as possible.

Some issues in having: lag, battery drain, google play services drain, and. The device just feels slow.

Coming from an iphone, it was so simple to restore a device. Help us needed guys!

LG Backup is pretty simple. Just have it make a backup, put the file on sd card or transfer to your PC or the cloud, factory reset and restore the backup file.

Also, before you factory reset, have you tried clearing cache for Google play services and clearing data, cache and uninstalling updates for play store?

I haven't tried that. I can try and see if it fixes anything.

Nice guide by Rukbat.

This might be helpful too:

As for your phone's sluggishness, uninstalling updates is unlikely to help.
Since updates often Include performance improvements it could slow performance more, though the difference would not be dramatic.

Clearing the cache Partition *might* help, especially if you did an upgrade from KitKat to Lollipop. Only clear cache files once.

If the phone is still sluggish after clearing caches, this might help you sort it out:
