We have a family with medical issues. I have been using evernote on tablet to record each Dr. appt. I thought to save those to flashdrive to keep with me in case we ended up at Dr. somewhere w/o my tablet (or if my tablet broke, etc.). This won't work for me to take flash and give to Dr. for them to open on their computer. So what is the best way to be able to create some kind of note/file on my tablet that I can save to flashdrive that will be viewable on any computer?

How about Google Keep? It's a nice note-taking app that sync directly with Google Drive. You could then bring it up quickly anywhere you have a computer or other device with web access. The only downside is that you can't share the note directly with anyone else--you'd have to log in yourself and bring up the note.

The other option would be just to create documents on Google Drive, which offers a basic word processor. The advantage with Drive is that you can easily share a document with anyone by entering their email address.
