Google Now has weather and holo theme... + is consuming 0% more resources than the app does anyways. Win-Win-Win.

To be honest.. i really like : GO fuc*in OUTSIDE AND WATCH THE WEATHER.. NERDS -.-

Oh, that gives you forecasts and helps you plan ahead? I think your plan either involves time travel or being poorly prepared.

There is the option to show the weather in the pull down notification and the temperature on the notifications bar. ;)

I have used HD Widgets for ages. I've tried others but this one just does it's thing running in the background. Definitely the best weather app and more. ;)

What about hourly forcasts? Weather channel app no longer showing hour by hour.

I just came to the Galaxy S3 from a BlackBerry, on which I relied on BerryWeather for years. I was very happy when I found that it was also on Android under the name, BeWeather Pro. It does everything I need it to do.

Since Google Now has a widget now... why have another program wasting resources that Google Now already uses? Just use theirs.

The same reason one looks at the weather channel as opposed to just glancing at a thermometer. More detailed info. Plus you get more customization options on. These things matter to a lot of people. If they don't matter to you, then you're absolutely right, but the oddity of the world is that different people actually have different needs. Go figure.
