I chatted with Samsung, they r shipping backorders 9/30. And verizon is shipping backorders in Oct.

Surprising that I just got my ATT paperwork email and the return label email for my Note 8, but still nothing in the way of shipping information. Oh, well. We will see what happens the rest of the day. At least there is now movement from them.

Man, if orders are that backed ordered I’ll just cancel and stay where I’m at. I doubt it will take that long, but that would be insane and I’ll use that as omen of what doing business with Samsung might be like.

Mynes still showing pre order status (verizon). The charge for the tax already came through when initially pre ordered but it's there a second charge that comes through after that?

Update: just spoke to a representative and for in store pickups the order status will change from pre order on the release date when it is avaible. Not sure if this was already established just figured I'd throw it out there in case anyone else was wondering the same thing
