BestBuy S10/+: Pre-Order Thread

Wow, these are some horror stories. I hope I don't have a desire to pre-order from BestBuy in the future. Yuck. As much as I'd like unlocked seems like it's just been too much of a PITA.

Well AT&T did pretty right by me this time. In fact, I got my phones 2 days early.

Best Buy is the king of horror stories, tho. Best Buy pre-order threads need their own reality show. People continue ordering from them....because of the deals they offer. So, I guess the drama is worth it. Some STILL don't have their phones.

I've never had a problem with getting my phones on time with AT&T. My phones arrive at least a day before they're released in stores. I got my S10+ 128GB on the 7th, my replacement S10+ 512GB is expected on Wednesday...and folks will still be waiting for their Best Buy phones.

I don't mess with Best Buy. I'm a techoholic. I would be screaming in the streets, if I was still waiting for my new phone. Lol...I know my limitations.

Also, I just wanted to add that I actually came from a HTC M7 to a galaxy s8 lol that's weird that a lot of us made the transition around the same time. Now it's like HTC who?

I still have my HTC M7...one of my FAVORITE phones. Best stereo speakers of ANY phone I've had since.

Well I called Best Buy and just said do any stores nearby have white if I can't get the pink and was told if you order online you can have blue shipped to you by Wed or have it sent to store by Thurs.

You live in Louisville, and I presume by your screenname, you are a UK fan...how can you turn down BLUE?!? hehe

I agree that BestBuy is the worse of all the sources, but like you said they have the best deals. but of all the people on here that posted I think Rose and one other person are the only ones that have not received their phones more of a Samsung issue with color not being available. (And trust me I know THAT SUCKS!!). I think the worse part is BestBuy doesn't even know when it will arrive in store, the old "It could be here tonight on the truck, but we don't know for sure." Also you will almost never get your BestBuy phones early and NEVER EVER in store, even when they send the email it is read early...it is not.

AT&T and everyone else shipped early including Sammy this year, but over all the years, no one has been perfect.

Just got an email that my pink phone is ready for pickup. Preordered on 3/7 and I live in California. Some other lucky person's phone I guess, since I won't be going to pick it up. I went to BB last week and bought a black one they had then in store. Don't regret it, this phone is amazing and I would've gone crazy waiting another week

I would go thru Samsung and do it that way either unlocked or carrier unless those earbuds mean that much to u you're gonna be waiting for a while dealing with best buy. I been gave up wondering what they are doing or when they gonna have some shipment in. It ain't worth the stress

I know but I can't go through Samsung yet my husband hasn't sent his phone in yet so I'd be waiting with Samsung too.

What did you order was it a 128 plus unlocked pink one maybe my Best Buy can have it shipped from your Best Buy? LOL! well I did tell my Best Buy I was calling them at 8 they said they get their shipments in between 6 and 7 so I'm going to be calling them shortly here from work and I'm sure they're going to tell me none came in.

At least in Northern VA. Best Buy has the Black and the Blue 128 versions for AT&T in store.

Last week I went into a local Best Buy at lunchtime just to check out the S10+. I ended up buying one and traded in my Pixel 3 XL for the $550. The phone really sells itself when you hold it in your hand and play with it.

For AT&T at least, they had some in stock, and most of the stores in the area have them in stock, but not many though. They didn't have any of the pink ones though. I am guessing Samsung didn't make as many of those.

Yeah if it wasn't for the in person trade in, would have got couple of days earlier along with buds. Next time just going to go with Samsung since you receive the pre order gifts immediately, with only draw back of mailing in the trade in. I have done couple of trade in with them earlier and went perfectly fine. Just got freaked out this time with all the horror trade in stories
