Bezel protection

Is there any to protect the bezel on the Galaxy watch. I've noticed that it can scratch pretty easily

Aside from someone coming out with some sort of TPU case, probably not. (And that would detract from the look of the watch.) How did you keep the case of an old digital (or analog) watch from getting scratched?

I will probably be ordering this item soon as I agree, it will provide good protection to the rotating bezel. My dilemma is still the same as mentioned in my thread starter:

I want to make the new bezel ring overlay "functional" (see my thread starter). While most everyone who puts this bezel overlay on their galaxy watch will do so for protection and aesthetics, I also would like to use it as a "timer" like on authentic dive watches with a rotating bezel. So far no solutions. Bummer :-(
