Bionic 9/1 release date?

trailblazen I love the comraderie here. Even though some of us disagree with eachother I don't think anyone has gotten out of line. People are pasionate is all. Me and robwilldominate have shared a couple lighthearted pm's and he gives me some grief in here but I don't take it as him being meanspirited. He's goofing on me and having fun.

Ship and rob and I just give one another crap but it's all in good fun. We get the joke. Lets not make something more out of than it really is. We are just a few guys goofin on eachother. I'm certanly not mad and I don't think they are neither.

We are "friends" who like to give eachother crap. Thats how I feel at least. I hope they join me in the SG2 pre-release threads when it gets rolling. We'll have our pillows out ready for a good fight

If the phone's not out on August 4th, there will be hell to pay: I will kill a small child every 60 seconds after 12:00 PM PST!!!!!!!!

There are a couple of small children in my neighborhood that I will gladly offer up as a sacrifice

I think that is probably enough of this, lol. I do see your points. A phone called the Bionic was supposed to be released and it wasn't, a phone called the Bionic is going to be release fairly soon, hence A phone called Bionic was delayed, I get, I see your point, I feel your pain. My point earlier simply was that the phone that is coming out soon, the Motorola internal codename Targa, Which just so happens to be called "Bionic" by Verizon, because that name is just too cool to throw away, has nothing to do with the original Motorola Internal codename "Etna" and is not delayed. To continue to say that the Targa (Bionic) keeps being delayed makes it sound like there are problems with the Targa, when Targa is on schedule to be released and has not suffered and delays that I am aware of.

However, you are all correct There has been a delay in something called "Bionic" being released on Verizon.

"The King is dead, long live the King" - this was our first leak about the demise of Etna and the Rise of Targa from someone over on Hofo It somehow seems fitting, or maybe I need to get some sleep.

Well, it just seemed really heated lately and just was looking out for all parties. I don't see PM's between folks because well.....thats why they call them private messages. I just work off of what I see and observe. If yall are good then awsome but I already saw one mod in here earlier put his foot down which is what stemmed my post.

Delayed, held back, replaced, re-engineered, Etna, Targa, Bionic...who cares? I went to the movies, came back, and there are 6 pages of everybody arguing over whether the phone was delayed or not! Again, I ask what is the difference? It's not here yet and that's all that matters and it won't be here until Verizon announces it - Do I like it? Heck no, but we have to live with it, so let's move on to the real questions of it's specs and when it actually will be released without rehashing coulda, woulda, shoulda, etc. Thank you, I will now step down from my soap box!

I completely agree. Unfortunately there's no new info regarding specs, hence 6 pages of "has it been delayed" I can only imagine how this place will blow up once moto or VZW gives us some actual info other than "coming this summer" or "the end of waiting"

it doesnt seem mutual from where i am sitting as well. we (mods and admins) have been in too many of these threads lately in this forum putting out fires because people cant seem to keep personal swipes out of discussions pertaining to when a new device may or may not release, and what specs this new device may or may not have. this thread is getting locked because we gave you all a heads up to stop the bickering, and then pages 15-18 happened. how about we all keep a concentrated effort to keep discussions in this forum on topic and free from bickering, because i know that my fellow mods and i are getting a little irritated having to lock perfectly good discussions because 3 or 4 people who end up dominating these threads cant play nice with each other
