Bionic to be released 2 months after D3! (august) + specs?

Any word if Motorola will release a revision of the Droid 3 with LTE later this year? An LTE Droid 3 is my perfect phone right now, and seems so close, and yet so far.

Now that I've experienced 4G on my Thunderbolt and now my Charge, it would be very hard to go back to 3G. But I also miss the keyboard from my Samsung Epic 4G. Makes me kinda wanta go back to Sprint. : /

Im in the same boat, and cant decide between getting the droid 3 for the keyboard or the bionic for LTE. Did you notice a big difference in browsing speed with 4G?

I keep thinking I want a 4g phone, but the more I think about not having my keyboard, the more I realize the D3 will be my next phone.

MHO is we won't see an LTE slider for a while. You think the LTE phones out now are fat, holy cow! It would be an unrecognizable change in form factor and Moto would have to rename it the DROID Boat Anchor.

Sup guys, remember when I was cutting edge technology?

What's with you people littering Droid Bionic forums with your midget hands argument that we the consumers don't want larger screens? Who are you to speak for all consumers? You don't speak for me. Go to a Droid Incredible 2, 1, or some other forum/thread if you don't want a device with a 4.3-5 inch screen. And where do you get you can't put a 4.3 inch screen device in your pocket?? Are you all petite men? I've done it at work every single day while listening to Pandora. Even a device with a 5 inch screen is small enough to fit in ones pocket. That size is more so ideal for me and what I'm looking for.. a large enough screen, for less eye strain, more space to fiddle with and bigger space to view photos, media content, and videos.. WHILE STILL being truly mobile. Anything larger and you pretty much need cargo pants pockets. Aside from that, the Droid X did very well sales wise from what I understand, I love mine, and the Droid Bionic is pretty much the most anticipated phones to date.. the 4.3 inch screen is one of the reasons why, even though I'd prefer larger, as in 5 inches. So please if you are not interested in a normal sized phone made for normal to bigger sized hands stay away from larger screen device threads.. I'm sorry if this is blunt or harsh or what not, but I've just about had it. It just gets to be as irritating as iPhone fan boys posting their zombie like pro like Apple/anti Android opinions in here.. having to see them and yet not many people speaking up because they don't want to have to waste their energies trying to reason with the unreasonable while waiting for what seems will be a gloriously nice "smartphone". Done ranting...

I'm like you, I want BIGGER. BIGGER screen would be awesome. If you don't want it, that's fine. There are other phones out there for you. Stop saying WE don't want it. Because WE do! Bring it on manufacturers.

Possible release dates.

Hey all

What seems to be like the most likely month for release for the bionic?? I've read a few different things but none of them seems to be pointing to that date. Any ideas?? Thanks guys

lets put a poll on this thread.

like. have June, July, August, September, never, past summer, or like next year.. lol

Mid August!!!

Probably mid-August at the earliest. Everything with this phone has been handled so poorly that I wouldn't be surprised if it was delayed again and had to wait until after the iPhone hype that will come in September.

Not until after the data plan changes coming on 6/15. How far after that who knows. Verizon store reps are leaking the data plan change dates is all I know.

I am reading reports that Verizon techs are saying so. I called my sales guy at the local Vstore and he would not comment but for "You may be correct". So............?

I guess we will see on 6/15 I think they would atleast give a little heads up first but we have only a few more days to wait and see.
