Bionic's still coming, is defintely new hardware - XT875

Agreed, I have been planning on 299 but I would like to see 250. I doubt we will see 199 for a few months.

At least $299.99 + tax. :)

I would try buying through a 3rd party though if I were you guys. You can usually haggle them.

You guys can always use the Trade in Program through Verizon to help offset the cost of the Bionic, They will give you atleast $3.00 for your OG Droids and BB devices, maybe $5.00 for your DX. How can you pass that up??? :p

OMG really? That sounds like a great deal!

Moto's Facebook page has the Photon coming out on Sprint on July 31. Don't know if that will have any effect on the Bionic release.

If its going to hit at 299, Look for a price drop on the samsung charge and the rest of the LTE lineup before the Bionic hits. I can't see Verizon offering a single core lte at the same price as a dual core lte.

Best Buy mobile insider DBM said they are pegging it for $299 and thats what I personally was expecting to pretty much match the charge. If that is the case for the VZ stores, with my Corp discount+NE2+$44 trade-in credit for storm 2 (used VZW trade-in appraiser), should be alot less painful.

As others have said, I wouldn't be surprised for a $299 price tag, similar to other 4G LTE phones.

However, I plan on waiting till Costco gets the phone a few weeks later before I grab it (assuming it is released in Costco). My parents each paid $170 for their Droid Charges (normally $299) after a few weeks when the phone came out, and it came with a few phone accessories (car charger and case, I think).

I was initially anticipating the $299 price tag as well, but wasn't there just a recent article on the main AC page this afternoon about the Moto Photon for Sprint being announce and priced around $199? Aside from the 4G LTE on the Bionic and Tegra 2 are pretty much the same as what is being speculated for the Bionic. Would the 4G LTE really command a $100 premium in comparison??

I think you're onto something...

Yes because it is verizon. Look at the thunderbolt it was essentially an evo and tacked on extra 100 because of it being 4g.

I guess we will be paying the 100 extra for the coverage and Lte... this kills me but I'm still stayingwith vzw. I wouldn't if I didnt have my discount.

I'm guessing that it is going to be cheaper than you think. What better way for your new flagship device than to have a killer phone with a killer price...I know, wishful thinking.

If it wasnt verizon then I would say yes but verizon doesnt think that way. Although they do seem to give existing customers a $50 discount atleast they do for me and I dont have a NE2 discount.

So most assume it's coming with the $299 price tag. Does anyone think that's a dealbreaker?

How's everyone getting this $50 existing customer discount?!?!? I want in on that deal! I've been with VZW for years, but when I was in a corp store last week talking to a floor manager, he indicated that I would only get like $20-$30 off or an upgrade discount. Of course this was the same floor manager that told me the DX2 didn't have a qHD screen, so maybe he's not all that knowledgeable. Or maybe it's because I'm not the "primary" line since I moved over to my fiancees plan and just an additional line.....
