Bixby and Phone Calls

I don't use Bixby for all that much - or Google Assistant, for that matter - but I'm finding myself on the road a lot more often these days so I'm trying to up my Bixby game for hands free calling and other functions. I can't seem to figure a couple of things out though.

1. How can I get Bixby to recognize nicknames for my contacts the same way Google Assistant does? Like, if I want to call my mom, Bixby doesn't recognize the command "Call Mom" because I have my mom's actual name in my contacts. Same goes for other family members.

The only workaround I've found so far is to tell Bixby to call "[Mom's Name]" and then create a custom quick command. That's fine, but if there's an easier way to do it, I'd love to hear it.

2. Is there a way to get Bixby to select a specific phone number if I have more than one # associated with a contact? If I have a home, work, and mobile number for Joe Smith, Bixby always goes to the primary or default number, rather than asking me to choose which number to call.

Any way to make this work or is Bixby not quite up to the task yet?

Did you try just putting MOM in front of her name in contacts, would be kinda useful for somebody like emergency service if needed, well given your phone isn't locked of course

Nope. I don't include relationship information in my contacts list.
