Bixby seems to work sometimes and not others

On that way, I have no three buttons. I'm in Nova launcher and this is what I see when I tap the settings icon from.that app screen.

Not sure why but mine works now. I don't know if its a matter of the wording or if maybe I'm in a semi glitchy area network wise (but, if that was the case then why did Google voice work so well?)

At any rate, I made a few fixes to the quick commands I have and all seems to work now. I guess the test is also trying it on the way to work because there are some spotty areas along that 48 mile route.

I've got issues with Bixby too. Seems that, if I hold the phone in my hand, Bixby will not hear me. But if I set it on my desk, 7 out of 10 times it will hear me and respond. I've set the sensitivity slider to all 3 positions, and the only one that works for me is the high setting. But for the life of me, I cannot get it to hear me and respond if I'm holding the phone in my hand.
