Black bars on Samsung HD Smart TV

So I tried hooking this bad boy up to my 50 inch and quickly noticed the black bars. I also tried mirror mode and still the same thing. I even tried screen fit. My Samsung Galaxy S4 displays just fine. I realize this tablet is 2k resolution, but is there anyway to get fullscreen or output correctly in 1080p?

I am wondering if it can't because the image might get stretched too much?

The resolution is 2560 x 1600. You'd think it would output 1080p without black bars. I just really want to game on my HD here and there with it. But these black bars on the side are kind of big.
