Black Friday Sales

I ordered an Epic from Walmart.com as none in my area sell Sprint phones. Turns out that Walmart.com uses LetsTalk.com and doesn't charge sales tax except in CA and TX.
Plus, use code 25RAFPCVER1 for an extra $25 off. Free shipping too. So, around $105 total (after gift card is factored in).

From what I can tell, the $100 Walmart gift card automatically comes 6 weeks after the phone is activated and you don't have to fill out any forms.

How does it act like a rebate though?

When I looked at Walmart, the total price was something like 229 you would pay at check-out to LetsTalk.com, you would get a 100 gift card from walmart making the actual price 129, or in s2000fsu case, 105 with the extra 25 off

Be careful with ordering through Walmart. If your in a situation like me where I have one line available to upgrade but its not the one that the phone will stay on, that will invalidate the gift card from Walmart. Looks like I'll be going through sams club since thats the cheapest I've seen so far and there are no rebates to fool with.

If you are a member of Sam's club, they are having a black friday deal on the samsung epic for $99 between 5-6am. Depending on the store, some have said that is just for a new line activation and $249 for an upgrade. However, I got a call an hour ago from one of the other stores in my area and she said her regional manager told them the pricing will be $99 whether it is a new line activation or an upgrade. :D
Where did you see this? I don't see that in any of the Black Friday ad scans.

Anyone know if Sams club stores have the same prices as you would get from going to their site and ordering from their?

Like someone else posted, Amazon has it for $99...if you're going to order it online, why not just get it from Amazon @ $99? No waiting for a gift card from Walmart, and it's still $20 cheaper.

Since my wife's upgrade is due at the end of January and she's in love with my Epic, that's what we're planning on doing for her.

You can't do upgrades on Amazon.com...at least with Sprint.

I don't think LetsTalk.com/Walmart care if you do an ESN swap AFTER you get the gift card.

I'm in Colorado and i have now had a couple of phone calls that the upgrade price will also be $99 good news for all!

JAGGREY...it wasn't in any ad. I went into one of the stores and was inquiring about the epic and the salesperson told me about the deal. I came home and called 4 other Sam's clubs in the denver/colorado springs area and all have confirmed the $99 price for both new activations AND upgrades.

Sweet! That's good to know... my friend is looking for one and has a Sam's membership. Now to find one in the area that carries Sprint. Thanks!

Just got one on an upgrade for 99 at Sam's and rooted! I love this phone already. Upgrading from a Curve 8330

I was in sams for about 45 minutes and there were around 10 people in line. The line didn't move the whole time I was there. I was wanting the Evo but it was regular price. Can get it 50 bucks cheaper on their website.

the sams club I picked up the epic from let me schedule an appointment and pick the phone up for the same price. It took me all of 9 minutes from the time they greeted me to the time i left with the phone in hand. My wife is eternally grateful. She loves the phone already.
