Black screen of death

Hey,

I've had my galaxy s6 just over a month now and have had the black screen of death about 3 times. I was just wondering if anyone knew if this is a software issue or a hardware as I know some people with the same phone who have never had this problem!

I've been told to factory reset and if it still happens they will replace it. Not sure how a factory reset would help if I haven't had it long though...

Just wanted to see if anyone had any advice!

Who asked you to do a factory reset?

I would clear my cache first, then try deleting apps before I would resort to a reset.

The company I bought it from said to do one and see if it happened again before returning it. Okay cool I'll give that a go thanks!

Is it to do with the software then do you know?
