I did not want to start a new thread so I'll just use this one.

Silver vs Stealth Black, Sprint.

I received the Silver One via telesales on launch day, I do not like how smudges easily appear on the back, so I called Telesales asking if the Black one was available. To my surprise it was, Telesales shipped the Stealth Black One to replace the Silver One. I have to say, the Black looks much better and feels better in the hand. I've noticed the back and home buttons are more responsive on the Black One, or it could just be me. Also, whom ever said the black One is a fingerprint magnet, is not telling the truth. The coating on the back of both the Silver and Black feel just about the same. I will post a picture in a bit...

True. But I preordered from Wirefly (on 4/6), which is what the OP is about. Wirefly still doesn't have them in stock.

The corp. store near me in Kansas City had the black one come in on Monday, I quickly snagged one and I think it is truly a thing of beauty.

Picked up my black One at a corporate store today.

edit: Didn't order it either just walked in.

Yup I got the black and it's fantastic looking. The HTC One is gorgeous and I think the matte black is just more congruent with the design. Both phones are great looking but I am glad I went with black because the majority of HTC One phones will be silver. One reason i went with the One over SG4 is the aesthetics and that less people will have it. The black will sell much less than the Silver One; so I am good with that too

I was very close to purchasing the black one, but eventually ended up with the silver one.

Can't go wrong with either. I had some in store credit to burn and got a clear Sprint case (gel style) and unfortunately the back is almost shaded white so you can't even see the black on the back. I figured I would actually get a case and the military grade screen protector. The case isn't that appealing to me but I don't like how exposed the camera is so this offers just enough space to allow me to place it on a table without the camera touching the surface. The screen protectors are much better than I remember as I cannot even tell it's on and there are zero bubbles. If anything I would have the screen protector over a case. Either way, congrats on getting the best phone on the market

I picked mine up two days ago at a corp. store, fully expecting to walk out with the silver one, and was good with that. However, when asked if I wanted the black or silver one, I was a little surprised that they had it in stock and asked to see the black one before making my decision. All I have to say is Black is Beautiful!
