blackberry keyboard on the note

Gave the Blackberry Keyboard a little try last night to see what the fuss was about. Deleted it after 5 min as it felt much like my whole experience with Blackberry phones in the past. Hated it

Wow, you went to the trouble of installing it knowing you didn't care much for the brand anyway.

Well you weren't disappointed, lol, you still don't like the brand ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

From my own experience, once you get used to it (which will take longer than 5 minutes), everything else seems like a step backwards.

I needed less then 5 minutes to know Need keyboard resize and I think I would like it. I don't even know who to contact to give the suggestion, BlackBerry or who? If somebody that is in contact with developer, please suggest the keyboard resize, to the right, left or whole width. Gboard does the keyboard resize right. Below is screen shot of what I'm talking about.

Actually, if I could change one thing it would be the ability to alter the layout and spacing between keys (or just resizing in general). Point taken.

I got the Lookout riskware warning, but I'm going to trust you guys because this is, hands-down, the best software keyboard ever. Now I just hope it works on my G6. Truth be told, I bust out my Z10 from time to time just to play with the keyboard again.

The swipe left and right feature for calculator and quick messages is pure BlackBerry Thoughtful Genius ....

I don't think it's quite as smooth as it was on OS10, but it's close enough, and it's pretty great to have the BlackBerry keyboard back.

Cobalt is the man. His apps are top notch. I used a few of them on my Z30.

In terms of the blackberry keyboard, it is good and certainly has its own nice features. But gboard is just as good in my opinion. As I get more accustomed to swiping on my keyboard I don't think I could even go back to flicking up on words.

I'm trying out this keyboard on my s8.its a nice keyboard but I'm having issues with how they do the auto correct. I'm so used to it being on top of the keyboard separate from the keys. I keep hitting the wrong button. The words popping up on the letters does help. I also don't like that I can't add gif from within the app. I have to close the app, search for a gif then add it . It definitely takes some getting used to.

What if there's is an update? I have had this on my s7 edge for over a year and it has never updated. Do I need to download the package again?

Have you checked your (cobalt) BlackBerry Manager? We had a BlackBerry keyboard update some weeks ago.

My BlackBerry keyboard version is: 3.1.0.13834
